JKP launches new online payment system

Ann Arbor, MI – September 12, 2011 - Attention residents: you now have the option to pay your rent online! We have incorporated a payment system into the website which allows you to pay rent with an eCheck (electronic check). To complete a payment on the website, click the "pay rent" tab and follow the simple steps. For a convenience fee of $4.95, you save the time and hassle it takes to send a check via snail mail. eChecks are processed quickly and will never get lost in the mail. Please note that there will be no grace period for online payments; rent is due on the 1^st.

Dimension Films/Universal Studios Draws on JKP Expertise

Ann Arbor, MI – April 27th, 2011- Over the last year, J Keller Properties has consulted on a number of locally shot films. They assisted with housing for many of the folks on Scream 4- including executive producers, actors, and the director. Their success with Scream led them to become the ‘vendor of choice’ for Ann Arbor housing.

Most recently, Universal Studios contacted JKP for housing assistance on a film currently underway. After tapping out most of JKP’s inventory, Universal utilized JKP’s knowledge of the area to help secure housing for over a half dozen cast and crew members.

JKP Closes Deal; Continues Downtown Expansion

Ann Arbor, MI – February 11^th, 2011- With the addition of 9 new properties totaling 46 bedrooms, J Keller Properties has had a breakout 2011. They also closed a $250,000 purchase on behalf of a private investor. This quick expansion may require the company to add on a new leasing agent this spring. They are also scheduled to take on not 1 but 2 summer interns from U of M’s Ross School of Business.

J Keller Properties Opens New Office in Downtown Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor, MI – October 1^st, 2010 – J Keller Properties has opened a new downtown Ann Arbor office in the 100 block of W. Liberty. The location, directly above the West End Grill, will aid in servicing University of Michigan students and all centrally located clientele. The opening will also allow J Keller Properties to market its services to other businesses in downtown Ann Arbor.

The opening comes after 6 months of searching for space. The nearly 800 square foot office is over 100 years old and overlooks W. Liberty between Main and First streets. There is currently a grand opening in the works.

J Keller Properties Celebrates One Year Anniversary - Revamps Website

 

Ann Arbor, MI- September 16, 2009- J Keller Properties began property management services on September 15^th, 2008. At that time, their management portfolio consisted of a single ranch-style home in Ann Arbor and a simple website. One year later, J Keller Properties owns one property, manages 12 properties, and has another 11 units under leasing assistance contracts.

  

“Our company growth is due to the difficulty owners are experiencing while trying to rent their properties. You can no longer take out an ad in the paper and expect your home to be rented. That’s why we have upgraded our website and use 15 additional websites to market our properties.” said JKP owner, Jon Keller.

 

The new website pairs J Keller Properties listings up with a far more suitable search platform. The previous website was difficult to navigate as it became cluttered with new listings and offered a limited number of pictures for each unit. April 22, 2009 - Condos Headline J Keller Properties' Portfolio


Ann Arbor, MI - April 22nd, 2009 - J Keller Properties, LLC has branched out into condominium management. JKP now manages four condos in the Walnut Glen Condominium Complex and is in negotiations to manage two more. It is a logical move considering J Keller Properties owner, Jon Keller lives in the complex.

"It was just time to make this move. I have tried to shy away from condos in the past due to stringent association management companies, but I know a number of folks in the complex and it just makes sense to help them out," says Keller.

Keller has been in negotiations with two associations as a potential association manager, a focus in which Keller would like to invest more resources. JKP has a rapidly expanding portfolio including student housing on University of Michigan campus and a growing off campus presence. They have grown significantly since opening doors in September '08.
